New Graduates:
Although the COVID-19 pandemic precluded us from having an in-person departmental graduation ceremony this spring, we are incredibly proud of the 6 students who graduated in December 2019 (2 B.S., 2 B.A. in Chemistry and 1 B.S. and 1 B.A. in Biochemistry), 65 students (13 with Departmental Honors) who graduated Chemistry (12 B.S., 35 B.A.) and Biochemistry (21 B.S., 9 B.A.) in May of 2020, and the 6 new graduates in August 2020 (3 B.S. and 2 B.A. in Chemistry, 1 B.A. in Biochemistry). Congratulations to ALL of our recent graduates!
2020/2021 Scholarship Winners
We are deeply grateful to all of our generous donors who enable us to provide financial assistance to many of our Chemistry and Biochemistry majors throughout their studies in Bloomington. The Department was able to grant over $103,000 in scholarships, fellowships, and awards to 72 of our hard working undergraduates this year. Your generosity facilitates the undergraduate research program and really helps our hard-working scholars attain their goals.
