Congratulations to IU Chemistry alumna Renã Robinson (Ph.D. 2017). She is the recipient of a National Institutes of Health grant for faculty success program to promote equity in science. This $2.04 million grant will be used to start a program that will help underrepresented minority faculty further their success in STEM. Prof. Robinson currently is the Dorothy Wingfield Phillips Chancellor Faculty Fellow and Professor of Chemistry at Vanderbilt University. She completed a Ph.D. in the lab of Distinguished Professor David Clemmer in 2017 entitled, “Proteome measurements for developing hypotheses about the biology of Drosophila”.
