Chemistry Alumna, Esther Uduehi, Named One of 50 Best Undergraduate Professors

I.U. Alumna Esther Uduehi (B.A., Chemistry and Mathematics, 2011) was profiled as one of Poets And Quants for Undergrads’ “50 Best Undergraduate Business Professors” in their December 2022 list (link).  The IU College of Arts and Sciences College Connection alumni newsletter featured this article in their February 1 email.

Esther had a very distinguished undergraduate career in the Chemistry Department.  She was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship in 2009, she was named one of four “Outstanding Undergraduate in Chemistry” awards from the Southern Indiana Section of the American Chemical Society in 2011.  Esther also received a Harry G. Day Summer Scholarship, a Hutton Honors College Summer Research Grant, and an IU Women In Chemistry fellowship in 2010 and a Russel Leo and Trula Sidwell Hardy Scholarship in 2009.

Her accomplishments in the department were featured in the 2011, 2010, and 2009 issues of the Alumni Journal; an autobiographical description of her 2009 Rhodes Scholarship trip to Oxford on page 22 of the 2010 Alumni Journal;
