Doug Garvin retired August 5, 2019 from the Department of Chemistry after 35 years of service to IU. Doug began working at IU in the Department of Chemistry in April 1984 as a Storeroom Attendant, then in Storeroom Receiving. He was appointed as a Research Machinist Trainee in January 2003. In July 2005 he was hired as a Research Machinist I in the Mechanical Instrument Shop, promoted to Research Machinist II in July 2008, then promoted to Research Machinist III in February 2011.
Doug Garvin Retires After 35 Years of Service
