IU Chemistry graduate, W. Walker Smith (BA Chemistry 2023), is featured in IFLSCIENCE and the Indiana Daily Student describing the conceptualization of the elements of the periodic table as sounds. He performed his one-man show, “The Sound of Molecules,” featuring compositions of these sound waves, at the American Chemical Society’s spring 2023 conference in Indianapolis. He will be returning to the American Chemical Society’s Fall 2023 Conference in San Francisco to perform his “Sound of Molecules” show.
